yes. very haunting. the DoF works really well and that flower(?) is a nice splash of colour in an otherwise grey environment.

@Duncan Galbraith: Thanks Duncan! I believe the flower is a "China Rose". It is indigenous to the early California history period. It was brought to California from China by migrant workers who came to California to work on the railroads during the 1800s (at least that's the story I got). The photo was taken at Mission San Juan Batista.
Churchyards are a great thing.
I like that picture (and couldn't help imagine it in b/w with only the red flower left red.) . But … how light are nights on that churchyard? :-o
