@Stu: That is what amazed me most about these kids. They appeared happy and very well cared for. Yet, their parents worked as farm laborers in the fields below. It appeared to me that the Chinese system is working well.

Are my eyes playing tricks on me or are the girls slightly out of focus? Appears to me the are out of focus and the trees behind them are in focus. Otherwise, nice double portrait.

@Daniel: No, it's not your eyes. There does seem to be a slight focus problem going on there. The fact of the mater is that my eyes are so bad that I didn't even notice it until you mentioned it. Not sure how it occured. It can't be lens shake at 1/1000 th. And if I was focusing on the background they would be much more out of focus. Oh well, will do better next time. Beautiful children! The focus issue gives it a strange effect. Probably what happened is that the autofocus on your camera was set to the middle focus point...

@Damon Schreiber: hahaha! It's just going to have to remain a mystery to me. I was definetly using the middle focus point; but, I usually lock the focus then frame the shot. I probably goofed. LOL Thanks for your comment...always appreciated!!!
