Art Monkey from Salt Spring Island, CanadaI just love the colours and the feathers - I can't wait til tomorrow 27 Mar 2007 6:14am Yvon from Meerkerk, NetherlandsThey are getting better every day! I love the sun on the flamingo and the intensity of his colour. 27 Mar 2007 9:35am @Yvon: Shooting these guys in the afternoon sun was difficult at best. I had to try and find flamingos in as much shade as possible to avoid contrasty photos and blown out highlights. This was the best I could do. Thanks for all your comments Yvon! Jerry from Tampa, United StatesLove the gorgeous color in this one Craig - each one has been superb! Excellent detail in the series! Kudos! 27 Mar 2007 10:08am Manuela Photography from Hainburg (near Frankfurt/Main), GermanyGreat feathers detail and colours! 27 Mar 2007 11:16am Dan Meyers from Macomb, United StatesWow. The flamingo is quite radiant!! 27 Mar 2007 12:39pm Shuva Brata Deb from Hyderabad, IndiaThese birds are not at all photogenic, but you managed to do a very good job here. 27 Mar 2007 3:53pm @m: Thanks for the complement. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by an "effect." Just to let you know, the effect was not done in Photoshop. It is the true color of this bird. The color, as I understand it, comes from either beta caratine in the birds diet or the large amoounts of brine shrimp consumed. :0) Titto from chennai, IndiaIt is a terrific professional foto man 27 Mar 2007 7:03pm Helen from Melbourne, AustraliaJust stunning Craig.
