Art Monkey from Salt Spring Island, CanadaI'm starting to see that you have a very nice home :) 11 Apr 2007 7:38am Bronnie from Christchurch, New ZealandNice symmetry here! I do like your eye for detail, especially the way you're letting us into your home. 11 Apr 2007 9:11am Lisha from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysianice symmetry. well balanced. cool textures. i like it :) 11 Apr 2007 10:22am Scene by Sharon Photography from Kingston, Ontario, Canadavery nice - this is one I would have liked to have seen in colour, because of the flowers, but it is lovely in black and white as well. You have an amazing eye. 11 Apr 2007 11:06am @Scene by Sharon Photography: You don't do so bad yourself. Color version coming tomorrow; but, it might not be what you expect. Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesNicely composed. I'd also like to see it in color. 11 Apr 2007 12:59pm @Laurie: Thanks Laurie. I'll post The color version tomorrow. But, it might be a little different than normal. Kheoh Yee Wei from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaInteresting object here and nice details, good shot 11 Apr 2007 1:38pm Nick Passantino from Bronx, United StatesI like that you have this B&W it makes you wonder what color the flowers are 11 Apr 2007 2:58pm Dawn Sutherland from Phoenix, United StatesI feel like a peeping Tom into your home, kinda fun!! Thanks for sharing. 11 Apr 2007 4:24pm Rahul from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaI like this shot, if you look carefully at it, it seems like the loin is gonna jump right out on you :) The lighting is perfect and desaturation has done its magic. :) 11 Apr 2007 5:08pm @Rahul: Thanks for your complement. I spent a lot of time converting this to b & w. In fact, I didn't use the desaturate command at all. Instead I used a channel mixer adjustment layer, a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, and a gradient map adjustment layer. Then I polished it off with a little burning and dodging. Thanks for noticing Rahul! ;0) Beckie from Shenandoah Valley, VA, United StatesVery nicely done and I'm looking forward to the color pic also. btw...I finally got my website right. Have a great day. 11 Apr 2007 5:29pm amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaJust an exemplary job on the b/w. Must try your technique. I really really really love how you've made the ordinary so extraordinary yet again. ;-) 12 Apr 2007 1:24am |
