Behrooz from Tehran, IranInteresting shot! These birds doesn't look real! What's going on here Craiger!? 12 May 2007 5:20am @Behrooz: The birds are very real: just taken out of context. It is a composite of four different images shot at Dillon Beach the same day. Actually, both birds are the same bird. One is just flipped horizontally. Catalin from Bucharest, Romaniagood shot but those birds don't belong there. have a great week-end:) 12 May 2007 7:34am Stu from Kyoto, JapanLooks like a giant beached sea monster there in the middle of the shot! Interesting shot Craiger, with alot going on. Nice work. 12 May 2007 9:56am Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomLike the surreal nature of the shot, including the 'crocodile' like weeds in the middle, good stuff Craiger 12 May 2007 4:27pm Vikram from Mesa, United StatesThis is nice! i liked the crock like sea weed and the cloning of the bird. 12 May 2007 4:40pm MontereyJohn from Monterey, California, United StatesI can see I have a loooooong way to go with my PS skills :) Fun image. 12 May 2007 5:36pm L.Reis from Lisbon, PortugalYour composite is almost an optical illusion...very well done! 12 May 2007 8:14pm Amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaAmazing pp work! I love the depth of the waves with Hailey... But with photography being so subjective I do have to admit I'd rather see this as two images with the cropping in the middle showing just the birds as one image and Hailey and the dog(s) as the other. Just a personal opinion. Your creative aptitude is always excellent. ;-D 13 May 2007 2:20am @Amy: Hi Amy! I did this shot about three years ago. And believe me, I know there is a lot wrong with it. Proportion and value being only two of many. But, do you really think that photography is subjective? Nick Passantino from Bronx, United Statesinteresting processing here.. i have to applaud your effort. 13 May 2007 2:33am Art Monkey from Salt Spring Island, Canadalove it! - it looks like you are just down the "beach" from me - everything is so familiar - even if it is a composite 13 May 2007 7:12am shotzz.eu from Warsaw, Polandone of best shots i've seen at your blog (in terms of composition), great compo ! 13 May 2007 2:43pm Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaCrazy composition. Too good to be true, eh? I think Behrooz is right. These birds wouldn't stand facing away like that normally. Looks like the beginnings of Noah's ark. 18 May 2007 4:51pm |
