@Art Monkey: It is just a little tent made of a fabric to diffuse the light coming in from outside. I made mine by cutting the sides of a box out and draping a white sheet over the top of it and positioning lamps to the side and back of the tent. Try goggling "light tent" to find some pictures of commercially available (but expensive) light tents. :0)
