Lee Blades from San Francisco, United StatesNice shot, love the car and headlight showing...reminds me of Gig Harbor, WA. 9 Jul 2007 5:03am Rags from Plano, United StatesWell composed shot. Shows that you had a long way to go. 9 Jul 2007 5:11am Helen from Melbourne, AustraliaI like this shot too although I am debating with myself whether I like the bonnet of the car in the shot. It is distracting as it is so white. I think the headlight is a fabulous touch. Fantastic perspective too. 9 Jul 2007 11:58am Dimitrios from ATHENS, Greeceit is realy looking this way, is this part of the car on the bottom right? think about removing it? see the picture again, regards D 9 Jul 2007 12:21pm Duncan Galbraith from Kyoto, JapanI dont mind about the car bonnet. In fact Id like to see more of it as opposed to less as it provides narrative. It transforms the picture from being about a location to the journey through it. 9 Jul 2007 12:28pm Celialee from Kyoto, JapanA good perspective! Although, if it was night - I would be afraid to drive home alone on this road. 9 Jul 2007 1:09pm Jen from Alpharetta, United StatesGREAT shots Craig!! 9 Jul 2007 6:37pm HorseRotorVator from Newton, United StatesCool shot! I love taking pictures like this! :) 9 Jul 2007 11:36pm amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaNiiiice shot! Great framing with the car hood in the foreground.... that's a great touch. I would've cropped it out but now I see how it really adds to the overall affect of the image. Well done! 10 Jul 2007 12:27am {H} creatives from Santa Clara, United StatesI agree with Amy, I think the white of the car actually adds to the story...aptly titled. Nice post-processing! Cheers, Craiger! B-) 10 Jul 2007 12:54am {H} creatives from Santa Clara, United Statesp.s. love your comments you left here. It's hilarious! 10 Jul 2007 12:55am oot skoot from St. Paul, United StatesA fitting title...we've all been there...or at least a place like it. 10 Jul 2007 1:56am Rahul from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaWonderful shot and the processing goes so well with the title. Good work bro. :) 10 Jul 2007 3:55am M.E. from Encino, United StatesI love the drama and the emotions it invokes... good one! 10 Jul 2007 6:12am Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomThats one quiet road, something we don't see to often over here. Nice shot, evokes a feeling of the journey 10 Jul 2007 3:02pm Seraphine from San Francisco, United StatesBeautiful shot. The lighting is subtle and different. 10 Jul 2007 8:38pm bronzebilly u.k. from cardiff, United Kingdomhey Craiger--I think that the car adds tone and balance to this ace image--a picture in three parts--good stuff--billy 10 Jul 2007 11:51pm Dawn Sutherland from Phoenix, United StatesCraiger, I actually like the car being in the shot but I agree with Duncan I think if there was more of the car it wouldn't be a distraction however it would give you more to the story. I am picturing maybe in the lower right hand corner enough of the car that you could see maybe the rear view mirror and part of the door on the drivers side. Just a thought, I love the shot either way. I don't find the car distracting and I love the headlight. 11 Jul 2007 5:55am L.Reis from Lisbon, PortugalA journey to the eyes on this road. Surprising how the b&w works so well, but in fact it does. I don't know about the car...each time I look at it my mind changes...no matter, with or without it, it'll always be a great shot. 11 Jul 2007 9:29pm allyy`* from Singapore, Singaporeblast music, and you won't feel so alone.... (: 12 Jul 2007 6:47am William from San Jose, United StatesCool, gives that "on a journey" feeling. Were you driving and shooting at the same time? 12 Jul 2007 3:10pm @William: Yes, but I stopped the car and stuck my hand with camera out the window to snap the shot! Thanks for all your comments William! Candace from Emmaus, United StatesIt does look lonely....I sort of get an erie feeling while lookng at it. 13 Jul 2007 4:45am |
