I really like the tired look of wilt that you've captured here. Reminds me of old age and the loss of energy everything experiences through the aging process -- but look, inside that same wilted sunflower are the seeds of the next generation. This is a very hopeful shot.

Nice stuff going on here, C. The aging floral contingent gets rare air time these days but I think there's a lot (of positive stuff) to be said about the older girls. In fact, with a background as creole as this, its features are exaggerated to the point of her appearing like a voluptuous old tart with plenty of flexibility amidst the droop. Nice show, old chap. :)
