With the exception of the modern telephone jack on the wall, this could (esp. in BW) be a photo from Casa Blanca or some film noir mystery set in an exotic locale. In color, definitely a 007-type look to it.

A rich image with lovely details, and what you left in or out of the image works wonders, a top crop.
