@Jen: No Jen, I cut the leaf out using the magic lasso from a different image. A few mornings ago, I tucked my camera underneath my arm to protect it from the mist. Unbeknown to me, I was accidentally hitting the shutter repeatedly. When I got home I discovered about 80 blurred shots of the ground. I used one of them for the background in this image. I do appreciate your comment though. It means I was somewhat successful in putting the images together. :0)

That is one great background layer. You could use that for so many different composite images. Great way to layer for this image!! It has a wonderfully timeless essence to it.

i read your response to jen - this is a wonderful accident. Something for the "serendipity" shot that I had come across aminus3 recently.
