North American River Otter

Barb and I have been hunting for a family of beavers for weeks now.
We finally found their dam this morning about 4 miles from here up Alamo Creek. Barb was the first to spot their dam. I found a good vantage point above the dam and was setting my camera up when this guy (North American River Otter) showed up. I was real excited. Barb went up the creek further and found another beaver dam that I will hike to tomorrow morning.
