Tree stump
The message below is from our friend Behrooz of BSurprised in memory of Sir Arthur C Clarke who passed away yesterday:
I would like to dedicate a day, let's say the last day of this month March 31th, to his memory, so I decided to suggest a theme for the day.
** Clarke's Day ** Dare to dream, let your imagination run wild, show us that impossible is merely a word in the dictionary. Take an element from his dreams, or yours, and make a picture. It can simply be a sign with the number 2001 on it or a picture of a UFO, but I'm not suggesting anything. It's up to you, my friend.
In case you are interested, please copy this text to your photoblog to spread the word. Thank you

Looks like a miniature rainforest. I've never seen variegated shamrock like this one, interesting!

You are right, even among the giants we should not overlook the little things!

great shot. i like how the way you framed the photo makes the tree stump look really giant, even though from the number of those pine needle things wide it is, i know it's not as big as it looks.
