Although this is the same plant as yesterdays post it is a different exposure. Today's post is not meant to be compared to yesterday's post. I used a gradient map adjustment layer for the conversion. In this experiment, i used white at both ends of the gradient map spectrum and a mid tone for the center.

Interesting work Craig. Gradient mapping is so interesting. (did I thank you for that link?) I would like to see a little more of the dark tones slip into this one, as I think it would make the composition a little stronger. At the moment the darker flower on the right is tearing my eye away from the whole a little too much. Otherwise it opens up so many possibilities. Inspirational work Craig. Wonderful!

cool! definitely nothing like yesterday's. you just took this at a different exposure? i thought you probably did some weird stuff to it in photoshop! it looks like a really neat abstract shot
