Dog Day AfternoonsPosted by Craig (Vacaville, California, United States) on 18 May 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. There is nothing quite like power lounging in an air conditioned room when outside temps are above 104 F. Some dogs just have it made!!!

This is unbelievably cute, hilarious, and an example of true decadence!! So which is really worse... not being able to go outside because of easily dehydrating in 100+F temps or the possibility of hypothermia in -30'sC temps... hmmmm?? LOL!! 24 May 2008 3:53am @amy: It doesn't matter much if it is too hot or too cold to go outside. Both keep you indoors. But still I'll take the heat! We only get about 20 to 30 days a year of 100+ temps. You get the cold stuff for 6 months or more. Even on 100+ days I can go outside for exercise in the morning when the temp is perfect. -30C equals - 22F. -22F is 92 degrees from 70F (room temp). 100F is only 30 degrees from room temp. So your cold is colder than my hot is hot! (hmmm does that make sense)? Finally, I can go swimming when its hot or drive to San Francisco where it is rarely hot! LOL In reality I guess you can get used to anything. :0) But I can sure hear your pain up there!!!! Take it easy and enjoy your spring weather!!! |
