What a fantastic perspective, the white church looks beautiful against the clear blue sky. I really love the statue too, especially as the BVM is looking down towards you.

@danthro: It is about a one hour drive North of San Francisco. Ooops, I just figured out that I am spelling it wrong. It is Tomales, California.

@Rags: I don't know. Personally, I am much more of a spiritual being than a religious one. I don't go to this church or any other. Although I do appreciate their architecture. Thanks for your comment Rags! :0)
Further note: Ecclesiastical definition of the word Assumption:
(often initial capital letter) the bodily taking up into heaven of the Virgin Mary.
