@Photographs by M.E.: I hadn't planned to post any more pelican photos because I didn't want to bore everyone even more. There is an American Avocet photo at the end of this series. I'll see if I can dig up another pelican just for you! :0)

@danthro: Yes, it is a wonderful place with over 15,000 acres! It opens at sunrise and closes at sunset. I'll try to look up some information on it for you! :0)

Wow, this is a pretty interesting shot -- the wetlands in the foregrounds, and Sacramento-metropolis in the background. Great contrast between the two.
