@willow: Actually, it is not that bad. I used the built-in 2X tele converter to get to that 1500mm number. The lens is only 750mm. Thanks for all your comments willow!

@Observing: Actually yes, I have my eye on an optical 2X tele converter. This will give me an effective focal length of 3000mm. Thanks for all your comments Observing!
