Sunrise is delayed by about 20 minutes in this location due to the surrounding hills. This is taken just before sunrise.

I think sunrise is delayed because these flowers stole a big part of the sun. Hahaha! Really, it's a visual treat Craig. I like this one a lot.

I like this one even more than the others because the flowers are facing the camera and seem to be watching something important or maybe they're just waiting for the right moment to pop their heads up. There is a feeling of anticipation.

Excellent sunflower shot. I also really like the one from a few days ago - sunflower field at dawn! I am from Kansas, "the Sunflower state" so can appreciate these, and have a few pics of sunflowers around here last week.
