MaryP from Aberdeenshire, United KingdomNicely taken shot. I think i would have preferred it taken from further back (or less zooming in) to have seen more of the falls. 20 Oct 2008 7:41am @MaryP: Hi Mary. I appreciate your comment. I was in this same area about a year ago and posted this shot of the falls. I'm afraid it is a classic shot that all tourists take from this location. I wanted to do something a little different this year. I may post other shots of the falls at a later date. Thanks for all your comments Mary! Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesWater in motion, very nice, tight framing. 20 Oct 2008 11:46am Betty from New Jersey, United StatesI agree with Viewfinder, nice shot of water in motion. 20 Oct 2008 11:52am Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaThat is a splendid waterfall shot. A dash of originality. Away from the ordinary full falls shot. 20 Oct 2008 4:27pm Chris from South Jersey, United StatesI love waterfall shots, but as Mary said I think I would have preferred something else in the picture to give it a sense of scale. I do appreciate zooming in to catpure a different view though (I did the same here). Nice shot..... 20 Oct 2008 8:26pm Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomCraig, I think I'm with Mary and Chris on this one, although it's a really good shot I think a bit more would have been even better. 20 Oct 2008 10:39pm MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomIt certainly does, and it has such energy which really comes through in this shot. 20 Oct 2008 11:08pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomYou really give us the sense of the crashing water here, nice shot 20 Oct 2008 11:10pm akarui from Kagoshima, JapanComing near a stream or waterfall can work very well. The goal is to find an anchor like a branch, a leaf or something special in the shape of a rock... 21 Oct 2008 12:22am amy from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaVery original, Craig! It's a great shot with the power of the water being the focal point. Bravo! 21 Oct 2008 1:54am Stunner from Kingston, JamaicaThe water looks violent as it rushed by! Nice shot. 21 Oct 2008 2:58am Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesThe power of the water is very well conveyed in this shot. 21 Oct 2008 4:08am |
