I love the composition. Was it done in PP or was there really 2 together? 16 Nov 2008 1:19pm @Cheryl: The scene was not altered in Photoshop. There were 2 together. The only thing I did in Photoshop was adjust levels, a slight crop, and the conversion. Thanks for the comment Cheryl! Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomGreat subject for B&W, the deep tonal range here really suits the shot. 16 Nov 2008 1:41pm MaryP from Aberdeenshire, United KingdomAbsolutely superb shot. Great detail and i love that 'eye'. 16 Nov 2008 1:44pm Chris from United StatesI would not have thought to try such a colorful bird in b&w - but it works wonderfully. Great capture - I love the composition.... 16 Nov 2008 2:02pm willow from Chelsea, United StatesA striking image! Love the eye - so perfectly focused. Such beautiful birds even without their usual pink color - the B&W allows the viewer to really concentrate on the details of the bird. 16 Nov 2008 2:23pm Gary from Cochise County, United StatesGood stuff. You got the tones just right. The composition is right on too. 17 Nov 2008 12:00am Anita from Quito, Ecuadorgreat image!
