I preach to everyone, "USE A TRIPOD"! And, "DON'T SHOOT IN THE AFTERNOON SUN"! Unfortunately, this tour left me breaking my own rules!

Rule are there for the breaking . . if you had set up a tripod and waited for sundown, even an ostrich would have flown ! Love the composition here.

It looks like he is trying to say "O is for Ostrich."
Go ahead break your rules. Any light is for shooting. Tripods are an accessory that sometimes must be left home.

I'm glad you broke the rules to bring us this shot. It's a great image. Do you ever wonder if birds have their own chiropractors? That hurts my neck just looking at it!
