@Michael Rawluk: This was a couple hours after the ordeal I wrote about earlier. The handlers succeeded in separating him from the rest of the giraffes. He was waiting for us to return from the safari. As our Jeep passed underneath him, I fired off this shot. It was almost like he was telling me to tell the world of his troubles. The last post on this issue comes tomorrow.

These animals are so gentle and so graceful despite their not-so-aerodynamic body shape. Your image captures the essence of "giraffe" in his expression. Beautiful.
