I personally like the reds and the fact that certain objects are competing for your attention. Intreguing. 25 Nov 2008 9:56pm @Gary: Thanks Gary! I was beginning to wonder if anyone would have a comment other than nice color and light. willow from Chelsea, United StatesAwesome composition. The textures and colors are beautiful and I love the tree's wandering limb. 26 Nov 2008 8:07pm Magda from Vancouver, CanadaI am looking at this image and thinking.... "Why can't I just snap a photo of a tree and have it look as good as this photo?!" You made something so simple and ordinary looking so beautiful..... Well done! 30 Nov 2008 9:01pm @Magda: I find it very difficult to be creative in an area in which I am bored. I've taken thousands of photos around the creek which runs by my house. And, now I find it difficult to produce anything worth while there. But, this morning, while out on a photo shoot with my wife I realized that all I have to do is travel somewhere that interests me and wallah....all kinds of ideas! The shot above was taken while my wife and I were on a western safari. Most all of the trees were quite boring. But this image popped up and I grabbed it. Glad you like it Magda and thanks for all your feedback! |
