Stunning 20 Jan 2009 4:03pm Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesThis composition is really eye-catching. I like the simplicity of this vine as it lays against that neutral colored background wall. 20 Jan 2009 6:52pm Michael Rawluk from Williams Lake, BC, CanadaWonderful. That beautiful colour really brings the vines to the fore. 20 Jan 2009 9:30pm Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, FranceVery nice composition with these vineyards 20 Jan 2009 9:32pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomOh wow, the spread of this vine appears almost like a graffiti on the wall, a very artistic shot, its perfect. 20 Jan 2009 11:38pm MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomWhat wonderful light, simply beautiful Craig. 20 Jan 2009 11:39pm Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomLove this . . it is like a map of Life itself . . all those choices and little chance of turning back ! 21 Jan 2009 12:06am Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomThe vine is like a windswept tree, following nature. Cool shot. 21 Jan 2009 12:16am JJ from Jersey City, United StatesSuch a cool post, the vines have a mind of there own and take over anything in there way 21 Jan 2009 1:18am baobab from Cambridge, United Statesa fine abstract - I really like the contrast of organic and geometric forms. 21 Jan 2009 4:08am Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesExcellent...They look like a mural painted on the wall. I love the way they look like they are windblown. It is interesting how they grew in the direction. Very graceful lines. 21 Jan 2009 1:16pm Russ Devan from New Hanover, United StatesSimple yet extraordinary. I agree with Laurie; it does look like it is windblown. I would be very curious to find out why the vine grew in the direction that it did. The only thing that might improve this composition is to clone out the stray shadow to the right of the vine. It is very distracting and takes away from the simpleness of the composition. Great job, Craig. 21 Jan 2009 3:23pm Paolo from Udine, ItalyI like this kind of "fractal" photos, which mixes reality and abstract 21 Jan 2009 11:01pm Jonathan from Knoxville, United Statesexcellent shot, I was going to make some comments but this would be easier. (Look UP) I agree with the shadow being removed, but besides that, there is everything to love about this picture. 22 Jan 2009 1:48am Nina from Hamburg, GermanyIt looks as if it's very windy... what a fantastic shot, simply great! 22 Jan 2009 2:08am Shirin Moosavi from Tehran, IranWow! They are like capillary vessels. Or hair in the wind. Anyhow! This is awesome! Great eyes you have :) 22 Jan 2009 3:17pm Denise from Tehran, IranSo Creative...Nice toning Also,Craig... 22 Jan 2009 9:40pm willow from Chelsea, United StatesNicely seen - not many people would have even noticed this, much less taken time to stop and immortilize it on "film". 23 Jan 2009 1:08am bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaWhat a cool shot! At first I thought these were branches blowing in the wind...imagine my surprise! Cool! 23 Jan 2009 4:45am Oeilonirique from FranceThat's what photography can be about, when one concentrates on the natural and essential.
