Great Horned Owl - Hiding in Plain Sight

Today, Sunday, Barb and I went to the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Refuge. We hadn't been there in several months. I'll post a series of photos from this trek. I wouldn't ordinarily post a photo with so many obstructions to the main subject. But, I haven't seen a Great Horned Owl in these parts for years and so I'll share my fortune with you.

This guy seemed to think he was well camouflaged as he let me get very close.
