Horse and Pasture

Well I'm finally back after being out of commission with a severe computer crash last week. I lost a ton of photos, data and applications including Photoshop.

Special to see part of a horse in the foreground (you were riding on?) but the one is superb and colors are great !
Sorry for yoour computer !My photos are protected at once on ansmall external hard disk which travels with me!

so sorry about your crash - I had heard of more and more people suffering similar fates and got myself a backup hard drive so that at least my data would be backed up....
I really like the foreground horse in this, as well as the background animals (horses or cows?) and the wonderful green grass.....

I am so paranoid about crashes that I have BACKUP! in my calendar for every Sunday.

@Michael Rawluk: I had a complete backup on an external hard drive. But it failed! Despite the backup software verifying that it was a good backup! Luckily I keep a complete backup of my critical photos on CDs. But I only do that about once every 3 months. It had been about a month since I backed up that way so I only lost about a months worth of critical photos. These photos were mostly experiments anyhow. But I am still upset with the loss. I will not buy another Maxtor backup drive!

The first horse being so close makes for a wonderful emphasis to the perspective here . . sorry to hear about that data loss . . sounds a nightmare.

OH NO!!!!! Mine is a WD My Book. So far so good... and I do have CD's as well. They can't even do a recovery at all of even the ghost files? Love the shot!! He doesn't look too happy about the weather, though.

sorry about your data loss... I've lost computers/hard drives in the past so am paranoid and back up to not one but two external drives - but I don't do that often enough.
